Any experience with Achilles tires
Car was lifted for oil change and found the rear wheels worn from the insides, front wheels also at tread level, so far I always used bridgestone RFT but today I found those indonesian made tires for a fraction of the bridgestone or continental tires, I have the stagerred setup with 275/40 - 315/35 R20
https://www.amazon.com/Achilles-MAG3.../dp/B00NYSXUXO Anybody has experience with those tyres on an E70 ? I always used Michelin or bridgestone in all my cars and never tried a cheap tire before . Cheers mates

Ive tried lots of cheap tires in the past on different cars. Nankang, nexen, lexani, etc. They were all ok. Its like the difference between do you want to drive a kia serento, or do you want to drive a bmw x5 kinda comparison between cheap vs exp tires.

If I went to look at an X5 and the seller had outfitted with the cheapest tires possible, I would question if he maintained the rest of the vehicle the same way. Regular gas v. premium, non-synthetic lubricant, etc. I am not saying you have done this rather would some potential buyers may think when they see you cheaper out in tires.

If I were shopping for a car retail, and saw a luxury car equipped with "Achilles" or similar unknown brand tires, it would put me off on the sale.
I think these tires will be an Achilles Heel when you try to sell. |

Yea but at a low price and 170k miles, as long as the thread is good, the buyers in this group will not care. What price are you thinking of.listing it?
Btw i sold my last e90 with low miles with nankang tires. They were new. No one really nit picked or cared |

I have got 20 inch X5 M wheels on the car which I had to bore the inners, fitting Achilles tyres to M power wheels would be a strange combination haha
