Saw this truck at Players Classic this year and it's eve better in the metal
Particularly love the F85 style steering wheel, makes the cabin look so much more modern. Was it a straightforward plug & play with the airbag or was wiring & coding required? look forward to seeing it at a few shows in 2018 hopefully

Wheel needs to be from a F10 M5 due to the spline size, needs coding (dual to single stage air bag) and some re-wiring along with a module. Car is going to be for sale very soon. Quote:
I don't use it much maybe 3000-4000 miles a year, but It now only has 22s all year round. |

Sorry to hear you're selling soon but hopefully that means another exciting project for you? Good luck with the sale.

Yep on Continental Contactsport 6. Drove through 6 inchs of snow and slush/ice. Not quite as good as winter tyres but being on air has its advantages too. Air is the best investment I ever made!

I hope the next owner truly appreciates all the effort you put into this. From the full x5m panel conversion, custom a-pillar pods to the extra lengths taken beyond a standard airrex setup to make it sit perfectly. One of a kind for sure!
Sad to see such a knowledgeable enthusiast moving on. Please come back and share your next project with us. |
