Silver Grille

Hi All,

Mine is a Space Gray and I'm looking to change the grille to silver one for sharper look (I think..)

Unfortunately we don't have diesel version here and parts for 50i is still not available. To my surprise the local dealer found that both E70X5 and X6 share the same silver grille, which means I can use the parts from X5 4.8i.

Has anyone already done the switch?

Yes that is possibile,for x5 ,i saw several times at my dealer.i dont know is it same for x6,but i think it is,because that seams to be a logical in sense of decreasing manufactiring costs.so i guess grills are same for x5 and x6.

In europe it is much easier because diesel version 35d has chrome grill and 30d has dark grill,so changing one to other is very usual.
