Cabin air filter cover (lower)
My car is now gone and the final spare part I have is this air filter cover from the engine bay. I bought it as the plastic clips on mine had snapped, and it annoyed me that the rail that clips into it hung down. However I never got to fit it before the car was sold.
It should fit a wide range of E90s and possible more (mine was a 2007 E90 335i). You can check on RealOEM.com. The part is number 2 in the diagram below. I've also included a 'library' photo too-the actual part is in my shed. Available to collect from Rickmansworth by J17 of the M25, or I can post. £30 plus postage Thanks |

After they replaced the windscreen i had what i thought was a dashboard rattle, so they came and refitted the windscreen, but that didn't work so we were going to send it to BMW to find the rattle. Then i got call a few days later from Autoglass saying that they wanted to come and put a Genuine BMW screen in first or BMW would just blame the windscreen. In the end i found the rattle myself, it wasn't a dashboard rattle, it was 2 of the 3 clips on lower carbon filter cover were snapped. The dopey fitter must have snapped them whilst removing the scuttle panel and microfilter. |

Well 1 was broken initially
And last week when servicing the car i forgot how weak it was and snapped the other 2! So its completely hanging off now No rattles though, with one broken clip it was maybe tight enough not to rattle. And now all 3 are broken its maybe free to hang loose so doesnt vibrate off anything |

I'm interested but could you give some info on condition of clips, 2 of mine are broken so only worth replacing if all three clips are intact :-)

Came across this in the shed the other day and realised it was never collected.
It's therefore still available - ideal if your clips have broken!  All clips intact. |

Filter lower housing
