How cold is too cold to go to the car wash?

I hate the salt accumulating on my car, but also don't want to do harm to rubber seals, plastics, etc. I treat the rubber bits to silicone spray, and of course wax during the warmer months. How cold do you feel is too cold to go to the average car wash?

How cold is too cold to use your own water hose in your garage? I would want to spray the underbody of my car to wash away the salt they throw on the streets.

I would say 32 to use your own hose in an unheated garage, but I'm certain you could go to a car wash in significantly cooler temperatures.
