Warranty Expiring Soon - Any Recommendations?
Hey guys, the BMW extended warranty will be expiring I believe on the 7th and so I just wanted to see if there is anything I should have them look over before its on my dime. I will say that I just had all the brakes done and fluids recently changed. I'm due for a service inspection in 4800 or 7/7/16 so not sure if BMW will cover that or not. First time owning a BMW with a warranty and this is my 5th BMW so no stranger to doing maintenance myself, just looking for a little guidance.
Here's some info: 2011 X5 35d 79k No issues at the moment Been serviced at dealer since new History I currently have: - Microfilters 58k - Brake Fluid 58k - Parking Brake Actuating Unit 58k - Rear Brake Shoes 58k - Microfilters 58k - Inspection of Driveshaft 62k - Engine & Oil Filter 62k - Fuel Filter 62k - O2 sensor 69k - Engine & Oil Filter 73k - Passive Tank 75k - Oil Supply Line 75k - Vacuum Hoses Replaced 75k - Brake Fluid 79k - Microfilters 79k - Front Rotors & Pads 79k - Rear Window Regulator 79k I'm sure I'm missing a few small things but this is what I have so far. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance. |

Looks like most of your work was done 50K+ ... I am at 41K on my 2013 X5d, and was thinking if I should get the Maintenance Plan ...
I am surely getting the 84K/100K warranty ... |

If your rear brakes happen to be squeaking (are you positive you didn't hear a squeak somewhere sometime.....)and measure below a certain thickness, BMW will replace pads and raptors rather than attempt to diagnose.
