What issues are you having?
I installed mine last weekend but on ignition threw a bunch of codes and now won't start - troubleshooting with Jon and Terry at the moment. |

So the plugs don't fit on the t map and the long plug seems like it's too long and the plug doesn't sit in correctly, I'll try to post pics up later today, but it's not like the pictures on the Berger tuning instructions. When I plugged it all in I got a check engine light and reduced power and a boost leak code, plugged all back in to stock and ran fine.

Yeah I got the same errors but didn't have any issue plugging in the TMAP piggyback loom (type A)?
Doing a bit of digging, the DSC & 4x4 Failure/reduced power could also be related to battery disconnect/low power? Probably won't get time to spend troubleshooting for a bit (kid in hospital) but hopefully will get it up and running by next week. |

As new as the JB4 is to the S63 engine, why are you guys asking here vs over on N54Tech where Terry himself will answer?

Still goes back to my original point and question...now you're spreading what could be needed information for someone else over two boards when ultimately N54Tech would have been the best place to keep it and leave it.

I guess that's you being uncertain of my opinion since you posed it in the form of a question?
Seems logical to keep the questions in the forum where they'll get answered by the guy who created it vs uneducated opinions muddying the waters, but OK, let's let the blind lead the blind. How about when you guys post logs...oh forget it, why post on a specific forum and ask Terry when we can take guesses with each other. This should be fun lol. Hey, let's just spread the information thin like butter :-) I treat forums like a library...search, get EXACTLY what I need an get back to life. I realize some come here for "friends" so then we can all enjoy regurgitating the same stuff over and over and over and over and over again as new owners come on board. Nothing like rewriting the book every 6-12 months with wild guesses, know it all's and general misinformation vs going directly to the source and/or keeping it in one place for someone to search for later...awesome. Carry on with your guesses Last edited by m5james; 09-13-2016 at 03:17 AM.. |

Yeah turns out I got the wrong part from bav auto... It was just the stage 1 tune not the upgrade with the jb4 so I'm gonna get that. I've been emailing Jon and he helped me out so thanks everyone who replied with answers. Forums are for people seeking advice and if I can't find what I'm looking for I ask, some of these know it all should write books and manuals with all the details...

Agreed, but you're seeking advice on a forum with people who have about as much knowledge as you vs asking on a forum where its know it all creator is an active user...
