Just ordered my First BMW

Has anyone else noted that if you say no to nitrogen and floor mats, it comes with them anyway? Is that just my dealer, or is it an overall thing?

With the nitrogen, I understand the benefits of nitrogen, but I didn't care enough to pay for it, so I said no. But there it was with all the cute little n2 caps on the valves. Do they fill with nitrogen at the factory and they're just trying to charge us extra because they can?

With the mats, I was moving the rubber floor mats over from ny x5, so I didn't need a new set. Surprisingly, the car had a set of carpet mats in it when I picked it up. I don't know if my dealer or the factory didn't want a $70k car leaving with a customer without mats. Also interestingly, when I picked up my x5 at a PCD, I had arranged for rubber floor mats. They were in the boot all fresh and packaged up for me, and on the floor were what? A set of carpeted mats in all three rows. Now I have two sets of carpeted floor mats hanging out in my garage.

My dealer also threw in the floor mats and nitrogen.... Might be a universal giveaway.
