Lowering my e70 with springs (Advice please)

I have been looking into lowering my e70. I called my local shop and its around 1300 fully installed and parts included. That seems like a lot to me? And he said the springs he would get would only lower the vehicle 1" LOL. I can find others myself obviously..but for 1300 I am questioning it.

I have purchased a staggered 20" Y spoke rim and I am worried it will look silly when not lowered. Does anybody have a few pictures of this kind of set up on stock suspension?

Thanks fellas

Here is a rolling shot sitting on H&R 1.2 springs. This is my daily driver and i am very happy with the ride. For $295.00 for the set of 4 springs i could not be more happy. My M3 and SS have the KW's and for the minimal drop the H&R springs worked out very nice. I did the install in about 4 hrs and that was taking my time. 1300.00 does seem a bit high, but it is a lot of work. Taking all of the air ducts/vents out to get to the top strut bolts was the most time consuming for me. Other than that dropping the struts is pretty straight forward. Good luck.

X6M rep? They look like these wheels which are 22" X6M replicas

You will get more than an inch off the 1.2" kit it will be closer to 1.5" is what most guys see. For some reason I thought I got my springs with install for under $1,000. Do you have self leveling rear? If so it takes about 15min to install the rear leveling kit, I can't recall for sure but $500 for install rings a bell then of course you need an alignment as well. For it looking silly with 20" OEM Y spoke when not lowered...that's how they come stock I think it looks ok but lowered looks much better in my opinion. Or are you asking about OEM wheels with no arches and stock height? Here is mine before lowered or arches.

You are correct, after the springs have settled it is about 1.5 inches.

Are you running spacers? If so which ones? Looks great.
