BMW Performance Rear Diffuser Fitment Question?

Hi all

Does anyone know if the 3 piece rear diffuser from the Performance range will fit into the standard bumper or is the rear bumper on the performance pack a different one?

BMW UK suggested it wouldn't but I don't see any difference apart from the diffusers which seem interchangeable?

Anyone done this?
