Hi All!!! New (to me) X6 50i Parent

I am a long time BMW owner here and in July I purchased a Vermilion Red 2009 X6 50i (33k miles) and love it! I just recently had the BMW Performance Power Kit software installed and highly recommend to anyone considering it....definitely the best HP/dollar upgrade out there; plus does not affect the warranty. Hoping to find some more X6 enthusiasts in the Denver area.

best hp/dollar upgrade? debatable... there are competing tunes out there with better performance

To clarify, Schomp BMW had a 20% discount on parts and labor for performance upgrades so brought the total intalled price to $854; plus no adverse affect to warranty.

Congratulations on your new and beautiful X6. I just picked up my vermilion red X6 two weeks and I can't drive it enough! What a great car.

I've been thinking of software upgrades as well. What specifically are the performance improvements that you've noticed? Does that software improve both power and handling?

I have noticed an improved throttle response at take-off and increased power with acceleration. It also adds a deep "gurgle" to the exhaust. It is an engine and transmission software and does not affect the suspension or handling.
