X6 rear light removal. Help?

Hi, does anybody know if the bumper needs to come off if I want to remove the rear lights??

If you are referring to the tail lights, No the bumper does not need to come off. It very simple. A screw on the housing needs to be removed from inside the trunk/hatch. If I recall there is a small black cap that need to be removed to access the screw head. Remove the screw and the light is held in by a couple of pegs.

Yeah I am mate. Perfect! Reason I ask I because I want to tint the rear lights like this
