X6 vs X5
Looking to get one, drove the X5 50 and it was very nice, I'm coming from a M3 so it's very hard to make the move but my daily driver is a Pathfinder and I rather combine the two and have one nice car I can drive all the time instead of sitting in the garage collecting dust and not being able to enjoy it....
I carry boxes with me, computer equipment usually and worried about the space on the X6....back seats would have to be down most of the time so how is getting things in and out of the back? Most importantly how is the driving??? I know X6 will be sportier but is it really that much different? Looking at the 50i version on both. |

X6 really feels like a sports car
X5 will not give you the same dynamics, but it will give you a bit more space While they are both SUVs, you'll feel more like home in X6 after M3 Drive both, you'll see what i mean I'm doing almost the same switch as you, 335i -> X6 |

If youre carrying around boxes all day and youre going in and out of the hatch i would stay away from the 6. Get the 5. More storage space and easier loading and unloading. the 5 has the flap that folds down and makes sliding things in and out easier...the 6 doesnt and youll have to lift everything.

+1 I love my X6 but if you have to lift boxes in and out all day it would get tiring, the X5 you can lift and slide in , X6 you can lift then lift so more. |
