Headlights turn off as soon as the car does..

Should I not have some courtesy lighting to walk to the door?

I am guessing it's the same principle as the E60 LCI so you can try this...

With the engine off and just before you take the keyfob out of the slot (or might be you have to take the fob out), you have to pull back on the full beam stalk, and then your welcome homes lights should light up for the desired number of seconds as set in the idrive.

Hope that helps!

That worked. (After the car is turned up.. bull the High beam lever).. lights come on for pre-determined time set in idrive.

Pull back on the full beam stalk towards you for a second and then let go.
