Got my wheels painted in black

Today I got my OEM wheels painted in semi gloss black, also painted the window aluminum trim and front grill rings

Here a couple of poor iPhone pics taken on the body shop before delivery, check out the updated pics below this thread.

Updated pictures, also covered the blue color of the wheels center caps and hood and trunk roundels with adhesive carbon fiber

Well,remember I'm in Costa Rica, labor here could be lower, I paid a little less than $600 U.S. dollars for the 4 wheels, window trim, front grill, and front plastic mesh (those located in the front bumper for the turbo's intercoolers ), this is an average cost for my country, not a bargain tough.
I used a good body shop not a cheap one.

For me, this just looks a little plain compared to a stock Monte Carlo Blue but I guess some are really into this all black look.

They are semi gloss, color sample was taken from a flat black M3 of a friend of mine, so they are easy to clean

thanks, I would love to change the exhaust tips to carbon look, like the Akrapovic's, and one thing I notice after going all-black is that the "M" badges located in the front fenders and the brake rotors are the "highlights" of the car since they still silver color, same for the front bumper markers

Yea I love the carbon exhaust tips but I think akrapovic only makes them for the 3.5. Unfortunately I can't get them for my 5.0

Akrapovic does in fact make the carbon fiber exhaust tips for the X6M as well as the 35i. Sorry dnuts, I haven't seen anything like that for the 50i.

If you check out the drivetrain modification section in this forum, you will definitley find pics of the X6M with the carbon fiber quadruple exhaust tips and of course, fully modded exhaust systems as well.

Motex, I have written messages ( eg on your profile ) commending the original look ( before you changed it ) of your X6M. I loved the chrome
door trim, the alloy wheels. What went wrong? I hate the new look! You've blackened everything except the headlights. There's no contrast. The car has become a shadow. The brilliance has gone.

C'mon........Stealth look.... I'm invisible at night.....no radar detection....LOL

I never leave a car factory, I always try to personalize it in some way, I like the agresive look the car has now
