Kahuna's X6M update
I have installed the following, thought it was time for an update:
-H&R 2" drop kit -H&R 18mm Spacers -21" Type 215 Wheels (BMW) -Clear front reflectors (BMW) -Black Grill (BMW) Still going to add new Halos, tint the taillights and maybe tint the windows... Cheers!

Looks really good at that height, but I would worry about the reduced ground clearance causing more bottom rubbing during parking lot transitions. How is that working out?
What do the 18mm Spacers do? |

No rubbing issues, there is still tonnes of travel...the spacers push the wheels out a little bit, gives the car a wider stance and brings the wheels to the edges of the wheel wells. I can't stand when wheels are 2 or 3 inches inside the wheel well lip.
The rims & tires I bought as a package when I bought the car for $5k all in.

Wow that beast looks stunning. Looks perfect at that hight! I think the window tint would add to it, but tinting the tails (if going black) makes it look cheap. But the car is fantastic.

That is very nice. You make me want to drop 2" in all. I only drop 30mm. Just wondering your wheel spacer HR 18mm is it Front and Rear? Do you need to change the lugs and Lock nuts? I trying to buy wheel spacer for my X6 but all cant get for me extended Lock lugs. Can you let me know?

Out of Europe, bought them through Roveractive
I know they are big and heavy, can't say I feel it driving though. I did lower it the same day I put them on, so it feels a little firmer.

Thanks for your information. Really like your car very much. I am now considering to lower to that height too. Best rim size for this drop. Can you also take some more picture of your wheel from the front .So we all can see how much it is been extend out from the H&R spacer front and back by 18mm. I did a measurement from my car, it is only 12mm for the front and 15mm for the rear to get it in line with the fender or wheel arch.

Thanks after looking at your setup I have decided to go with the 21's instead of 22's. I like the fact that the Dunlops are run flats but damn they are pricy. Can you tell me where you got the H&R kit? I have called EVERYONE I can not find this kit. I doubt anyone is going stock it but its worth a try. H&R is backordered for 6-7 weeks! Thanks

Why New Lug nuts? I have identical car/wheels seems my lug nuts are small?!?!?!
I needed a adapter for the rear tires, so they can be centered correctly. |

Looks awesome!
I would like to drop 2" as well. Do you think you will have to adjust the camber? How much of a PITA were the springs to install? Thanks!
