X6 aerodynamic Performance Kit

I fitted the performance kit to my X6 when it was delivered (dealer install). It really did differentiate the vehicle.

1 year on and before, I was totally underwhelmed with the finish on the kit. I am not so naive as to not expect plastic pieces but it is held on with the kind of plastic clips and screws I would expect in a kindergarden age model car. Straight away the fit was terrible with gaps appearing between pieces as simple clips stopped fitting together etc. I wrote to BMW suggesting that they fire the engineer and QA person that ever let this out to market. Surely I thought, the X6M panels can't be falling off the X6M's or everyone would be complaining.

Now I've found pieces have actually let go whilst driving which means they self destruct and have taken other bits with them ( front wheel well/valence pieces in particular).

Anyone else less than amazed about their OEM X6M panels or performance kit parts that don't seem to fit, nor are they affixed with any reasonable engineering prowess eg. bolts or proper fittings rather than lego bits.
