DRL LED lights
Up for sale: DRL Lights for X5. Bought them on ebay, but turned out they don't fit X5 Diesel. They will not fit X5 M as well. Price: 140$ + delivery cost. |

Just curious. Did they actually not fit the deisel or you just didn't feel comfortable blocking the radiators that are behind those grills bc they are solid and not functional mesh.
Have a buddy with a 35d who was going to get them and this was his concern and was going to possibly Dremel out the holes |

They do not fit because of DEF tank in passenger side of the bumber.
If passenger side did fit, I'd cut holes in driver's side part so that it allows air flow. Quote:

There are 2 cords that come with the lights. Every cord has a snap-in adapter on one end that fits the socket you can see on photos. Other end has no socket and should be simply connected to any +12V source. I was going to simply connect them to daylights. Another option would be to connect them in parallel to fog lights. As they are LED, and drain way less then regular bulbs but have much higher resistance, computer will never complain.
