Need your opinions on these two wheels.

Hey guys. Picking up a 2012 X6M this week. I know the Lorenzo wheel isn't optimum, but they'll still work with a 295/335 combo. The Lorenzo wheel is only available in 22x11 but with staggered offsets that will work on the X6.
The Vossen (gloss graphite) is almost double the price, but would be 22x10.5 and 22x12. Let me know what you think. (Not sure if both images will show up)

I am not really a huge fan of either set to be honest, but if I had to pick, I guess I would go with Lorenzo's.

OEM. Really? The X6 needs 22's. I agree, there are nicer wheels available, but only in fully forged. That pushes the price even higher. I don't want to invest too much into this. I'm stopping at tires, rims, tune, downpipes. I'll have the calipers painted and drop it on HR's. Just driving this until the new X6M comes out in the fall of 2015.

The Vossens will be fun to clean the brake dust off of unless you get them in a darker color. The other ones will be easier to clean the barrels. Just my 2 cents as I am looking for wheels too and want something that will be easier than the stock 300s to clean the barrels and be a darker color too.

Too funny I almost responded w that also. My ADV's are a bitch to clean my hands get bruised! The more curves and spokes the harder it is for sure.

If I chose the Vossens they would be the gloss graphite finish. The Vossens are almost double the cost of the Lorenzo's. ( I have a wholesale account with a supplier for Lorenzo's, but not the Vossens)

There are two things you can do to improve the cleaning of wheels:

1. remove the wheels from the car, clean the crap out of them, and use a polymer sealant wax to repel dirt and brake dust. Works amazingly well.

2. upgrade the brake pads to a low dust pad. Very, very easy and cheap to do.

Cleaning wheels is just part of the game. Pay to play!

Akebono is what I would do on the /M

I did Posi-Quiets on my 50i. No discernable improvement in bite, but way lower dust.
