Boston Red Sox at SF Giants

The Red Sox plays the Giants in San Francisco on June 7 and 8.

I hope Sandoval is off the disabled list by then so he can show the team he said disrespected him what's what.

As a Giant fan, I'm more than happy he was pissed that the Giants got serious with him about his weight. How dare they expect a player to stay in shape.

I hope this belt breaking and bench warming wake him up.

He'll be gone long before then. (I hope.)

A guy in the gym a few days ago was telling me about the belt breaking story...how pathetic....has that ever happened before. He said they just flat out benched him, because of his lack of performance. At his salary, damn.

Now he's on the DL and may be out for an extended period of time with some supposedly serious issue with his shoulder.

He supposedly injured his shoulder while he was sleeping. Maybe he was dreaming that his shoulder was food and tried eating it. He has no discipline at the plate and no discipline with his eating habits.

....and no discipline about how he talks about his time at SF. Any player would be thrilled to get the ride he had as a Giant. The fans loved him. His team tried to get him the help he obviously needed. What does he do with all that love and support; he leaves town and talks about being disrespected. Thanks for taking him Boston. Sorry about the outcome. Next team be warned.

He certainly is a fat fucker!

On a side note, the Sox have started the season better than I though, hope they can keep it up.

Edit - another win today

Giants don't win 3 in 5 years if it wasn't for pablo and that's a fact... he was a fucking stud in the post season. Rings should mean a lot more than your weight, considering he still made highlight defense plays with that big belly. Then all of a sudden he has to change? Why?

The Giants worked with him on his weight the whole time he was a Giant. And then, its a big surprise to him that they bring it up as part of contract discussions. A players job it to be the best they can be for the team. It is a team sport. He's addicted to food. Instead of taking the help he chose to lash out at the helpers.

I can tell you as a 30-year Giant fan who loved Panda while he was here and admired his obvious talent, after hearing him run his mouth about the Giant organization and the Giant players, all I can say is good riddance. The Giants hare an amazing organization; great record, great players, great fans, full stadium almost every game. If anybody disrespected anybody, it was Sandoval continually not taking the advice of his support team. It cost him a career legacy in San Francisco and its costing him now in Boston. Too bad, really.

As a Giant fan, I'd love it if Sandoval would follow Crawford to the LA Dodgers. I think that would make for a very entertaining extension to Dodger-Giant rivalry. I'm sure Sandoval is capable of great things with his endless talent, but given his attitude, advancing age* and the loser stigma that will absolutely affect his confidence if/when he plays again. * I only say advancing age because of his weight. When you are heavy in your 20s and you are gifted you can get away with it. As you approach your 30's, the weight takes its toll on knees, speed, belt buckles, etc.

So I say, let Sandoval follow Crawford to LA. I'd love to see his smiling face on the other team.
