Some sort of Hybrid X6 on GG bridge??

Was travelling over the GG bridge and caught sight of a weird looking coming up behind me had front look of x6 with huge power dome on hood (could be stock X6M hood dont know X6 that well) but it definitely did not look stock
When it came past the badges were all blacked over and it had "hybrid vehicle" stickers on side and back tailgate. I snapped an Iphone pic after circling it once and then it took off into Sausalito.
Seemed like a bit of a scam on the Hybrid Vehicle sticker but it was instrumented inside to beat the band, lots of displays on the dash and wires

thought I would pass on to you X6ers

The X6 ActiveHybrid has been out for quite some time..

yeah, it was sporting MFG plates and the power dome on the hood was much larger, with BIG scoops where the fog lights would have been. Definitely a BMW test mule, whether or not it was a hybrid was my question, looked more like an M version, maybe M hybrid?

Man, I used to live in Mill Valley and drove the GG Bridge every day. Your picture is reminding me WTF I am still living in CT and should move back!

Doubt it was an M version , it was headed towards Marin and would not be allowed past Sausalito as it's too politically incorrect. :lol
