N54 Recall Letter
For what it's worth, just got a recall letter for "Voluntary Emissions Recall Program" for certain 2007-2010 BMW's with the N54 engines. Engine Malfunction light and reduced power were cited for recall. High pressure fuel pump claimed to be problem. Car's history to be reviewed. Will "re-program" ECU to eliminate problem. Could that mean a reduction in power?

power failure happened when i was driving on the highway, took the car back to dealer, the first day they advised there's a software update to fix the problem, after it was done the problem still existed, so second day they decide to change the hpfp then assuming it was fixed since problem didn't appear again afterwards.
