Anyone running a Boost or Air/Fuel ratio gauge?
Just wanted to find out if anyone is running a boost or air/fuel ratio gauges?
On my last vehicle I had a custom fiberglass dual gauge pod built into my A pillar. my concern about doing that with my X5M is the airbag. I wanted to see if anyone is currently running aftermarket gauges and in what spot they have them mounted. I have seen the gauge that fits into the air vent but i don't believe it will show your air/fuel ratio which is a must have for me. Please give me some ideas and any pictures of your custom jobs are welcome. |

I have the P3cars unit on mine--it's been spectacular. Watch the for sale section on this forum. One already installed into the vent duct will be for sale shortly.

Is it possible make a gauge pod in the A pillar like the one pictured below even though we have an airbag in that pillar. These shots are from my boosted Jeep SRT8.

I think, if you have an analog AFR source, you could use one of the analog inputs on the P3cars gauge. Search on 'afr' here: http://www.p3cars.com/install/#Operation_Details
