Steering wheel CLimate Panel intermittent failure

2008 X5 Sport Package

This all began shortly after installing my Andream screen: the climate control panel goes dark and my steering wheel raises to it's starting position. I thought it might be fuse related but it will work occasionally.

Last night was the first night it failed, started, then failed again while driving (at night i that is a factor" I'm guessing something's loose but I can't figure out what it is.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Did you figure this out? I’m having the same issue, just checked the fuses and they’re fine. Mine doesn’t seem to be intermittent, just went away.
