Coding for LED Interior Lights
Getting these errors in ISTA+ (see pic)
but dont see the option to convert to LED in BImmerCode either. (see pic of bimmercode saying its an option)..but in doing a pull on my E70 x5M, its not there, anyone else see this? Anyone do this for the X5 E70? |

Not sure about bimmercode but you can code out the errors using NcsExpert.

I didn't check ISTA, but I don't show any errors in bimmergeek...
Troy is going to help me get setup in ISTA, I have it, but never used it for coding...always for instructions only. It's possible the bmw tech coded them for me when he saw the errors...he was checking codes last time I dropped it off.

I'll bet those errors are there unless he coded them like you said (if he knew where to code them too). I simply replaced mine like you, it doesn't show a check engine but the location where i said, is where you turn on ACTIVE for those two spots to get the errors to go away.
It doesn't show up in other readers, only ISTA+ but i am particular in keeping my ISTA+ error free so dealer doesn't think i am screwing things up or wont touch it. |
