First oil change with this SUV

I just got the suv from the gf . It has 89K miles (2009 X5 3.0). I bought a Mobil oil filter at a local shop and saw two rubber rings and a crush(really small one) ring. What is that ring used at? I seen multiple videos where I don't see the that crush ring used.

Also, what is the size of the crush ring of the engine drain plug?

Thanks ahead,
TT

the crush is for the drain plug on the car.
the small o ring goes on the oil filter canister, the larger is for the canister seal. its pretty simple, use FCP Euro and do the oil exchange, free oil changes.. called Lifetime Replacement

You are right, I couldn't believe such a small washer. I picked up some from Napa and the surface was a little wider than the one that came with the filter.

Small package comes in a big SUV

I didn't realize you can actually exchange your oil at FCP

Do you recommend sticking to the OEM BMW oil from FCP? Or would you use Liquid molly? and if so, which one would you use?

Thanks
