Recommendation for serpentine belt and stuff

Guys,

My 2009 X5 (3.0 non turbo, X drive) has about 90500 miles. Inherited SUV from GF about a month ago.

Looking to change the serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley, and bolt. I am thinking of buying from this site. Do I need anything else? Is there another site/brands you guys prefer? Also any links for DIY?

https://www.bmwpartsworld.com/v-2009...ts-and-pulleys

Thanks,
SVHO

FCP has some bundles made for this. I'm not the same year as yours, but my bundle was under $200 for the main drive, but there was another bolt and idlers not mentioned.

I would check https://www.genuinebmwminiparts.com/ before you go with ECS and just ask them to match, they are less than wholesale on all BMW parts.

Always go with FCP Euro you'll buy it once and never have to pay for it again if you ever have to replace any of that again it's guaranteed for life and they'll swap it for a brand new one regardless of why might cost you a few pennies more now but it will save you in the long run...

Which one do you need? They're different belts. One is for the A/C, the other is for your alternator and power steering. Both of them work on a car with either Adaptive Drive or 4-Zone Climate Control.

Check out realoem.com for cross-referencing part numbers
