why do so many misname X6 as...

I read alot of postings. So many people write X6 3.5 or X6 5.0.
Isn't the correct name of the vehicle X6 35i or 50i? or am I confused?

I am getting very impatient waiting to order a 2011 X6 50i. Does someone have any additional info re: prices or availibility?

You are correct ... people just don't really know what they are talking about.

35i = 3.0 Twin-Scroll Single Turbo (for 2011)
50i = 4.4 Twin-Turbo

I am also getting impatient for 2011 info ... although I am not ready to place my order just yet ...

well I guess if you are going to be picky about the name then shouldn't it be:

Bayerische Motoren Werke xdrive 35i
Bayerische Motoren Werke xdrive 50i
or
Bavarian Motor Works xdrive 35i
Bavarian Motor Works xdrive 50i

"The quality goes in, before the name goes on"

Anyone remember that from Zenith?
In this case,
The name goes on, but the problems go on & on & on...

U mean:
Bavarian Motor Works X6 xdrive 35i
Bavarian Motor Works X6 xdrive 50i[

It's a mouthful!

Was does BMW put xDrive on the side of an all wheel drive vehicle when X is on the rear?

Why do people still defend station wagons over SUV/SAVs?

Why do they call them JUMBO SHRIMP ?
