Wow that sucks. I was just talking to a friend that I should take my car to a frozen lake a bit north of here for some fun. After seeing this, I will stick to asphalt!

Since it handles so well I think folks forget it's a 5200 LB auto. not the same as blowing across a frozen lake on a snowmobile.

the tow loop is in the toolkit in the trunk!
Hope they managed to towed/windged it out before the trunk flooded.

I'm from Texas and even I know that you drill to test the ice thickness before proceeding.
Driving across a frozen lake (with the window cracked) is an awesome feeling!
