What a transformation Gixxer!! I am really digging those bronze wheels. Beautiful overall!! I'm new to this forum and looking forward to starting my build for the lovely M. Already bought my first mod (Velos Tune) for the truck on here from "Revnato".

Could it be potentially more boost and a piggyback ECU?

Thanks!
If anyone wants to know more about the M4, I Just started a new build thread in the f80 section; http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1371601 Looking forward to my new project, but don't worry, the X5M will be getting plenty more love very soon! Gotta love this pristine undercarriage; First Mod; H&R lowering springs installed today! ...and a little teaser for the X5M JB4 has upped their game with their new Machined aluminum black anodized case and OEM style connectors. |

Love that interior color combo but I'm slightly biased :-)
Where'd you get your garage tiles and how do you like them? I wanna do the same for mine but I worry about daily usage like water drainage, the occasional floor jack, jack stands, etc. My garage at one point was used converted into living space, which makes it nice that the walls are finished and 2 of the 3 spots are heated, but there's paint splatter and carpet adhesive I'd rather not deal with trying to remove. Thank you. Just got to get past the break in miles before I can turn it up... meanwhile, I am ordering parts and thinning my wallet.

It cleans up your workspace and makes your garage feel like a showroom for your vehicles. I looked a various floor coverings before finally choosing this option. I found too many issues with epoxy "hot tire pickup" whether it was professionally installed or not. Stained concrete also looked very appealing, but can be extremely slippery when wet. Both options (epoxy and stained concrete) typically cost more, so the tile system appealed to me the most. I chose Swiss Traxx over Race Deck because the tiles are more substantial and don't "clack" when walking on them. They do cost a little more, but totally worth it IMO. The best part is if you decide to move, you can take your floor with you or if you happen to damage a tile, you can replace them individually instead of the entire floor being ruined. My only regret is not doing it sooner! Quote:
The JB4 is still sitting on a shelf at Dynamic Auto Tune in Charlotte, waiting on BMW to address any recalls and/or customer car package concerns on the X5M... Once that is completed, JB4 is going to be stacked over Active Autowerkes tune and then.... (wait for it!) |

The website says it has a "flow through" design to keep the surface clean but then I imagine you would have to pull up the whole thing to clean the garage. It does look so good though. I was pretty surprised when I saw the pricing on the website...not cheap stuff like you said.

Should have it back on Saturday... I'm having paint correction done and a layer of ceramic coating while it is in Charlotte.
