What are the best shocks for an H&R lowered X5

Hey guys, just curious what the best shock to buy for a lowered X5 with H&R springs?

Nothing exists for the aftermarket that I know of. Short of buying the complete Bilstein kit from Europe? Surprisingly I think those are actually h&r too.

Well I saw that Koni makes some good ones but they are recommended for normal ride height and also don't support auto level rear suspension which I have

So your saying the that's the only option? Where would I find that setup and do they offer it for the auto leveling suspension?

Nope not for the autoleveling cars.

Bilstein makes a matched B8 strut and lowering spring as a kit, sold in Europe. Not badly priced IIRC, <$1500 USD. But for the non auto-leveling, non-3rd row cars.

If koni makes something for our cars, do it. I've been a Koni customer in various track cars for years, solid stuff and great warranty. They don't hold up to rally, but pfft, I doubt most entry-level stuff would.
