OEM LED vs Lux aftermarket

How much better are the OEM LED headlights vs the $250 upgraded Lux Leds? Can the expense be somewhat justified? Pros/cobs? Appreciate the feedback.

4,000+ dollar upgrade on a car that's been out since 2010 just can't be justified in my books. $250 seems like a bargain! I'd rather put the $4,000 towards my next car purchase. just my two cents.

Kind of exactly where my head is at. I can't stand the yellow lights though. BMW is really behind in that department. Escalades have had HIDs since 2008.

Ya. Imagine how e90 M3 owners feel. the 3 series got a facelift and got the LED blue rings, except the M3. Stuck with the yellows. Beyond me. I have the lux and its really nice, specially at night. I'd save a few bucks if I were you.

Appreciate the feedback. Dumb question for you. (I get my X6 next week) is the center of the headlight xenon/yellow? Does the lux adress this?

Ha, yep. Sold my M3 and put my LUX v3 into my X5.

Satisfied with the look.

Actual headlights are HID (white/bluish). The only thing that's yellow are the angel eye rings. This is what LUX solves.
