Question Black X6 Jet Black vs Black Sapphire

Anyone have really good picture of an X6 in Black Sapphire and do you think it is it a metallic black with a hint of blue (sort of like the canyon black in the X6M or jerez metallic black in the M3), or is truly more of a gray black, or off-black like the 650?
Have an order in-place and need to finalize the color asap

2012 X6 50I  [0.00]
2006 Volvo XC90 V8  [0.00]

Check out the pics of my 2009 Black Sapphire at:

It appears black until you get light directly on it. When in direct sunlight it appears dark gray with a fleck to it. Kind of a cross between Jet black and the darkest gray. To me there is no hint of blue.

Good color choice. I chose Sapphire Black over Jet Black on my previous 335i convertible. The JB color shows swirls and scratches compared to SB, which has a nice metallic fleck to it, depending on the light and the angle. Awesome color!

Dealership explained to me there will never be a jetblack car in their showroom. it looks terrible and shows every little mark on it. The metal fleck in the Black Sapphire makes it a superior color. Not to mention black Sapphire is the most ordered color by BMW owners. (Better resale)

I personally prefer the Jet Black... I disagree with the previous post regarding the swirls, etc. I owned a Jet Black 335 which I cleaned every week and the paint remained beautiful and deep dark. My co-worker has the same exact car in saphire black and every time I look at it to me it looks dirty or dusty... it's weird. this is why i ordered an x6 50i in jet black with the red interior.... same combo as my 335. can't wait
