X5M & X6M sneak preview in LA

So we went to the sneak preview/launch on the new X5M/X6M last night in LA at Siren Studios on Sunset. I was a nice short evening with cocktails and light fair and the typically BMW top brass.

They had a Azurite Black / Sakhir red X5M and a Long Beach Blue / camel color (don't recall the name)X6M.

The most striking feature for me was the interiors, a huge improvement!! The seats are killer. As for the outside they look good very aggressive although the X6M has very Cayenne'ish front end. The rims are good looking and standard 21's with Michelin pilot super sports.

Would like to see the Long Beach Blue in the daylight as it was hard to tell the true color under the bright lights.

I suspect these sav's will be at the LA Auto show later this week.

Anyway here are 2 quick pics off my phone will upload my camera pics later when I get home.

Is it just me or does the exterior look too much like the new M-sport? The original x5m had completely different hood, fenders, and bumper.

Thx for posting. To me, the X6 is starting to look a bit like a mustang.

tx for the quick rev, not impressed, exterior doesn't move me and for seats, rather get a nice massage chair at home from Ineda @ $9k

Same problem with the Audis: the A4 S-Line looks exactly like the S4.

They are really beautiful!

But I think I still prefer the X5M and X6M (E70, E71)

Like "windtendo" said, because of Bumper, Fenders, Hood (we can differentiate the X5/X6 to the X5M/X6M)
