Does anyone know how to remove the leather pieces on either side of the cupholders?

Has anyone done this? I searched but found nothing.

I need to just remove them so I can slide in this stupid mount that I bought.

Here's a pic if you don't know what part i'm referring to:

Hi there, it is a big job just to remove the 2 side leather. There will be10 things you need to remove before you can have access to remove that 2 pcs. Because you will need to slide the center consloe 5cm backward in order to remove the cup holder trim.

Thanks for the reply! Do you happen to have a DIY with photos on how to take it apart? Or what did you use to figure out how to take everything out? I'm so angry because KUDA says that the phone mount its supposed to just slide right in but there is no way it can slide in with those two leather things in the way! ARG!!

Yes I have complete instruction from BMW with picture. It is a big job because I just have mine remove for some audio stuff. You wanna me post it here or email it to you? I can't do it today I am sorry. May be tomorrow.
