How often do you drive in M Mode?

I don't know about the rest of you but every time I get in my truck I have to hit the M button. It's just not the same without it. Also you have to be ready for a race at any time.

What about the rest of you? Do you guys have it in M mode constantly or do you leave this beast caged up?

I go in a few times during each drive but there is way too much power to drive around the city always in M+S! D

I hear that! I usually only drop it into S when I want to really get on it other wise I'm normally just in D in M mode. Opens up the exhaust valve... I love the sound of these things. Especially that fart from 1st to 2nd.

I only put it in M mode when I race. Without it on my tune it pulls really strong.

Most of the time I just cruise and drive it in normal mode, only when I see someone worth racing or if I feel like getting on it I go into M mode and slap it into manual.

I almost never drive without M mode on, unless I am cruising on an empty highway. I cant stand with a "let me think about it" throttle response in regular mode. Besides, I got this glorious exhaust sound in M mode after I installed the Velos tune. Its too addictive.

Always in M mode but I find it is still sluggish to downshift (on its own, without me using the paddles) despite that. It always wants to stay in 6th gear unless I really tromp on the throttle. Sometimes I use Sport mode because of that, but it's normal M mode 99% of the time.

M mode when I am first at the light regardless what kind of car is next to me, I floor it when the light turn green.
M mode before I am about to enter a curvy road or long banking turn (tightens up suspension)
M mode in parking garage (loves the sound)

I always have M mode on. But when I want to romp it, I click it over to Sport. Not easy to drive normally in Sport mode, downshifts hard on deceleration

Thats exactly what I do everytime I drive!

The only time I turn it off is when I am on the Highway and have the cruise control on.

Coming from a 335, I almost always shift into to sport to slow down. I feel like I need those aggressive down shifts to stop on time. I'm sure Ill learn to slow earlier eventually, but for now, I LOVE the sound of the downshifts.

Naw brother we are talking about M mode not manual. Bump your game up to an X5M and youll know what I mean. We have a button on our steering wheel that puts us in M mode and Im assuming its an extra 50hp or so when we turn it on and have all of our power modes on. Its like driving 2 different SUVs when its on and off. Although im glad youll be manually shifting it for some fun.

When I first got the car I pressed the M button every time I sat in the car. After all the mods I've done tho, normal mode is wayyy faster than M mode was at first, and since I always drive it in Manual, I don't have to worry about laggy throttle response. I press M mode maybe once a week just to have a bit of fun, I can't stand the mpg I get with it on though (cruising 6th gear w/o M mode=12mpg, with M mode=8mpg) If I'm about to go real crazy tho, thats always the first thing I do.
