Why are people so dirty?

I work in a busy corporate cellphone store, untill January thanks to decent promotion, and deal with a diverse range of people. The disturbing thing is a decent amount of the people walking through the door are dirty, smelly, or just gross. I can't imagine why in 2015 people cannot shower a few times a week. I am sure a lot of users here don't work retail but is the norm? Maybe I am just over sensitive to it.

End rant

PSA: Clean your phone case out. It's disgusting when you don't.

Sorry to have to not agree with you. There are guys that are lazy, people that need to save, people that can't use deodorant or people that can't afford to buy. Lucky you that you can shower, use cologne and deodorant and wear clean clothes every fuc*ing day!!!! If you are not prepare to cope with everything then get a job at a telemarketing of answering the fu*king phone some where else. Be tolerant or go somewhere else.

Well income does play a role it's not limited to the lower class. Where I worked last year had an median income of double the nations household average. I am sorry you feel strongly about this. Maybe we can set up some crowdfunding for you if you are need.... *

Where do you draw the line on tolerance? Surely not at personal hygiene.

Because 42% of the population is democrats. Showering has become non-pc. Same as girls shaving.

When you work in an office, you begin to realize there are a fair amount of men who never wash their hands. IMHO that's more serious than not bathing. When I was in our Oslo office, people wore the same clothes two days in a row. They were not dirty per se, and Norge is a first world nation.

Lose the Wells Fargo and join a sanitary Credit union....WFC does offer nice collectable stage coaches this time of year, though.

That's a European thing. The water systems move less volume than ours so they have a culture of using minimal water.
Less frequent bathing, shampoo once a week, much more cologne, almost no water in standing toilets. I wish they would discover deodorant though.

That is gross. I over wash my hands after touching dirty phones and people.

If those people can't afford to clean themselves to the point they don't reek then they should not be in a store selling cell phones.

Says the guy who drives a brand new m3, has a stable career, and most likely lives in a home. Instead of judging people on your high horse why don't you try to see things from their shoes?

I'm not surprised that on a BMW forum a conversation about personal hygiene has turned into a "the lower class" can't afford it. People need to cut this class non-sense out, because in reality no one gives a **** what class you are in. Not everyone has the same luxuries as others, some people have trouble putting food on the table, and some people have to choose over things that aren't as important. Not everyone makes enough money to be showering twice a day.

If personal hygiene is your ultimate judging factor of a human being than thats just sad. I look for things such as morals, values, and what they stand for.

As much as I like this forum, some people on here think that just because they drive a BMW they are God's gift to mankind.

It's sad but it's not to uncommon for people to spend their last dollar to pay for the phone/accessory and say they have to wait till Payday to have more money.

If I could not afford to wash myself I would not own a cell phone.
