Yup, used to be the first thing we watched off the DVR on Monday nights (never watch anything but sports live). TWD slipped behind Homeland now... losing interest but hope they turn it around.

What the hell was yesterday's episode?
Oh, what a shocker...Glenn is alive. Basically, that was the entire episode besides the typical ANNOYING teenage actors. Man, they are so bad. |

I fell asleep for a good 20 minutes and woke up watching that tower collapse. This mid-season finale better be good and not some flashback showing Carl's kindergarten days.

Yup, the TWD directors think we are all idiots.
Next week is the mid-season finale so I'm giving them this last chance. It's going to have to be epic or I'm done with this story.

I liked the show, and Carl is sooooo getting shot by that little punk Ron in the next episode. I think Ron is going to take the place of Douglas Monroe in the comics and be the one who blasts Carl (albeit for completely different reasons). I'm not sure they can shoot Carl in the face though and take out his eye as the makeup-CGI would be nuts for that, but maybe they'll just give him a eye patch like the Governor or something.
I'm hoping beyond hope the RPG makes an appearance in the mid season finale, I could see Abe/Daryl/Sasha show up at the end and lay waste with the thing hah. |

That's who I thought it was, but the going theme on the forums right now is that it was Eugene. So once again, the timeline is a little off from show to show. Apparently it's Eugene calling for help (as walkers pour into Alexandria), and this sends Abe/Daryl/Sasha back in a fury to Alexandria. That's the going theory right now hah.

Well, all good things must come to an end and I've reached the end with TWD. I've lost all interest in the show and decided to stop watching after this week's episode. Hope everyone else continues to enjoy it.

IMHO Homeland season 5 is better than TWD/6. For the past couple of nights I've been catching up with Homeland and that show has taken things to another level after running Brody to the ground.

Homeland has always been better than TWD.
Glenn is alive! Great. The rest of the episode??? The only thing worse than drawn out episodes are people acting stupid. Why teach that kid how to use a firearm? He obviously doesn't have it together and has unresolved beef with Rick and Carl. That is not going to end well. The runaway girl, JSS? Don't have patience for that. What happened with the keys and any connection to the wolves? Why wait so many episodes to come back to that? I get that perspective of giving up and think it is a valid one to explore, but it's just not unfolding well with the girl. Maybe it is her acting, or the writing, don't know. Just not working. I actually liked the end of the episode though. That was done well. |

It'll be interesting how many of you (and other people) that say you're done with the show will be here posting next week about how awesome the mid-season finale was.
Or, if that doesn't happen, posting next year about how you can't wait until TWD starts again.

I love the show and will continue watching until it's done, but I must admit I'm more than a bit concerned about the upcoming gunshot to the face to old Coral. In the comics this causes quite a bit of memory loss to dear little Coral, and I'm DREADING them spending future episodes focused on Coral where they're trying to get his memory back etc. I mean c'mon, these episodes fly by so quickly and there are so few episodes per season, I'm getting a little sick of the time they waste on trivial issues that quite frankly aren't very entertaining.

It is the same thing on every forum though...there's always a group of "smart marks" that become impossible to please. Get over it, it is still better than 95% of the shit on TV. Has anyone checked out "Into the Badlands" yet? I've really enjoyed the first two episodes. Kind of Tarantino-esque.

This season thus far has been Underwhelming... Period. Yeah, I'll still watch it but that doesn't mean it could not be much better.

Still better than those governor episodes in season 4. I don't see much difference between this season and the last couple honestly. They always have some draggers like the governor's episodes and when the disease hit the prison.

Fargo has also been excellent this season. Worth a look if you haven't seen it.

Jeeze, what a let down of a mid season finale! I thought it was going to be nonstop action, instead we get boring conversations with people in houses the whole episode. The best part of the show you had to wait to see during "Into the Badlands" when Negan is finally mentioned!
I watched Badlands after the show, and it was 10x more interesting. Good grief AMC, get yer shit together pronto on TWD! Terrible episode! |

Yet another boring episode with more storylines I can't get behind.
Does anyone really care about the "doctor" whose status is questionable? I mean, the regular characters get 5 minutes of airtime and there is no Daryl, surely just a result of production costs. These fringe characters, the awful storylines of the kids, and the general lack of star power is turning in to a snoozefest. Absolutely awful mid-season finale and almost no direction for the story. |

Carl should have shot that fucker...but that's Carl being a Carl. Any money that kid ends up costing someone their life.
And WTF is with that dumbass kid calling for his mom during the zombie march...Kid you had one job...one...Shut the fuck up. More kids need to get eaten in this show. Honestly...this show makes me not want to have kids because of how stupid they act and do not listen to anything their parents say in a zombie apocalypse.
