I was just messing with Bimmette.

From my perspective - Asian couple posts photo that says "Happy Thanksgiving from Nicole and I" Person responds, "Nicole chose a very nice English name for herself."

That scenario prompted me to envision some old lady at AppleBees asking Asian people about "how they chose their name" and many of them replying, "My parents gave it to me."

Speaking of Portland, I hear great things about it!
