E70 Retrofit M front bumper LED Headlights, LCI Fenders

Need some help & advice on doing a massive retrofit to my E70 4.8i. I got ran off the road by a dumbass and caused damage to all 4 of my wheels and front end, roof, and some undercarriage. My cousin owns a collision center and I can get wholesale pricing on parts and labor. Insurance hooked me up so I can pretty much retrofit the front and rear depending on the parts I choose. The roof after repairs will be gloss black. I also purchased H&R 1.2" kit w/ self level links.

I've already done my research and I know some of you aren't keen on M parts on a non-M... However this is suppose to be a forum for people to express their passion for cars and modifications.... Plus not many options for ft bumper, the M is the best looking!!! I've owned a E39 540i 6 spd full Hamman kit, and an E46 330Ci with heavy mods. Constructive criticism is welcomed... Lol

Option 1: M ft bumper, LCI fenders, M sport flares, LCI Headlights, FRM3 module

Option 2: M ft bumper, M fenders (small difference in price since I'm replacing both fenders and painting over the M logo, M flares, NEW LED headlights with FRM3 Module (just worried about wiring and harness that's required) if not then M lights

Option 3: M ft bumper, LCI fenders, M sport flares, M rear bumper and flares. Vorsteiner lip ( keeping my old lights and sanding down and re-clearing)

I'm open to other ideas and options, whatya think?

Do what you want. It's your truck.
In the end it'll look great. I think you should convert the rear bumper too though. At least to m sport.

The black will be off putting. On that note, did you paint your running boards and fender flares? Looks great. Guessing your cousin hooked you up with that too? Was it a lot of work?

Here was a retrofit done. But you've probably already seen it. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...it-wheels.html

No need for ///M bumpers if you just paint the existing. The black really sticks out now.

I plan on doing M rear bumper also. Rear bumper, flares, and side panels will cost me 1400 plus paint and install.

The running boards and flares are easy to take off, just make sure they are completly sanded cause of texture, and they put on a promotion adhesive so paint will stick. The only issue I noticed is that after boards were installed the black grips wouldn't stay in place and when stepped on, they push down into running board. I assume those should have been replaced with new ones.

Also I was worried about kids stepping on back part of painted board to get in, so I custom cut a piece of 3M clear protective tape.

Wow! Red looks great. I am still on the fence about the new LED lights. I want them however I can't find the retrofit harness. How did you get yours to work. If I install them with FRM3 module, will most of lights work until I get coding? Is it plug and play or you need harness to make them even turn on?

Looks great! did you do the rear also?

Also, did you change the under body covers and fender liners?

You've to install the harness and newest FRM3 then you need to add option 552 to your car VO. When you've done this step all of the fault codes will be gone.
