Good Price for 2011 X5 xDrive35d?

Hello all,

I'm looking at a used 2011 X5 xDrive35d with absolutely every option and nearly 1500 miles. It's not a CPO because it's only 10 months old as per the dealer. It was an executive car and "awarded" to the dealership because it's a high volume dealer. Still has just over 3 years of warranty/maintenance. The dealer is asking $59,000 while Kelly Blue Book indicates that $60,000 is a great deal.

What do you think? Do you think there is room for negotiation? The car has been at the dealer for over a month.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Wretched Creature

As a comparison, I just purchased a 2011 X5M (new) at 15.4% off sticker.

You are buying used. Should be able to get cheaper I would think.

What is the MSRP with all the options? Do you know you can get a new X5 35d with 10-12k off MSRP after all the rebates? Start with selling price of 500 over invoice minus the following rebates:

- $2,500 ECO credit
- $1,000 Mission to drive rebate
- $1,730 Option credit (must add navigation)
- $1,000 Loyalty credit (if you qualify)

If you find a new X5d on dealer lot, you may be able to save even more. BMW is offering dealers additional incentives to sell more cars before year end. See this thread:

Thanks very much for the feedback DDP2011X5M. I didn't jump at it as the deal didn't seem as good as the dealer indicated (as usual).

Thanks VERY much Haris, this is quite helpful! The supposed MSRP is $81,500 and the dealer said that the only rebate is the ECO credit for $2500 (didn't align to what I've been reading).

Building my own on the BMWUSA site and comparing it to Kelly Blue Book I've come up with an MSRP of $79,285. With the rebates you've suggested at $500 over invoice I've come up with $67,100 for a new, 2012 model. This doesn't take into account the addition BMWCCA $1000 discount.

I feel well armed for our next round with the dealership, thanks again!

WTF? 60k with 1500 miles sounds great to me. Actually pisses me off considering I paid 60k for my 11 35D 4 months ago brand new. MSRP was 68k.
