Just purchased my first BMW

Finally made the plunge and purchased my first BMW. Coming from a 2010 Ford GT500 Shelby Convertible, the X5M is a totally different experience.

Look forward to learning all there is about this vehicle and the mod's that can be performed.

By the way, the dealers in S. Cal are dealing on these. I ended up getting a great price on this car (new).

I honestly doubt you guys got a good price on an X5M in California. I am from Socal and guarantee you can get better prices out of state. I live in Oregon right now and do not have to pay tax on my vehicles and I know its near 10% in California.

Whats a good price in Socal?

I had two deals going. One was at 15.2% off sticker ($99,075) and the one I ended up going with was 15.4% off sticker ($99,075.00).

Your $8K+ is a good number for a 2012.

Throw her into M sports mode.. Hold down brake pedal, give some gas, then let off brake and floor it (or enable launch control) and you'll feel no lag off the line I'm sure!

No Dinan mods on my X5M but had Dinan package on my X5 4.8is and loved it. Dinan is great and reliable with their warranties IMO

Congrats!! I'm sure you will love it, mine is at 14k miles and i absolutely LOVE it. Oh and your absolute first mod should be the angel eyes

Excuse my question, but i'm a bit confused on the "angel eyes". I take it my 2011 X5M does not come with these, but I am not sure I know the difference

He's referring to the Lux LED Angel Eyes. Currently you have halogen angel eyes that are on the yellow side, these LEDs more closely resemble the LED angel eyes on some of the other newer BMWs.
