Rear glass on tailgate

This may be obvious for some, but I can\'t figure out how to pop open the glass on the tailgate. I\'m thinking it doesn\'t open, but can\'t be sure. Could not find any info on this in the owners manual.

Can anyone confirm it opens or not?

Luckily no, I didn't open the glass. Just came from a 2011 Jeep GC which had this feature. Oh well, 155 more HP

Our other car is a Jeep Commander. I do like the flip glass as it's nice to quickly getting stuff in and out of the truck. I can also tell you that driving the X5, you quickly forget about things it doesn't have and quickly learn to appreciate everything that it does
