M sport package & adaptive drive

This is probably a stupid question...so I apologize in advance, but...

Does the M sport package on an X5 50i automatically come with the adaptive drive? Or is the "self leveling suspension" something different from the adaptive drive. I'm assuming they're different things, but wasn't sure...
Couldn't find it on the search...but that may be because it's obvious to everyone else.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The M sport package doesn't include adaptive drive. It is a $3500 option. The self leveling suspension is a separate option that is included in the M sport package. This simply keeps the vehicle level when loaded or otherwise. You get this with the M sport package or 3rd row option.

One my '11 50i, Adaptive Drive was included with the M Sport but not the Sport Activity. I believe that has now changed. It is worth it in my opinion.

Thanks for the clarification, guys.
Do you guys think it is worth it over Cold Weather pkg and Premium sound? I need to sacrifice some options to get it (since it's so pricey).
Any thoughts?

I do like the Premium Sound but that can be helped aftermarket. If you have rear seat passengers, you may not want to sacrifice the Cold Weather package.

I only drove non AD equiped X5s too briefly to really tell the difference. I would see if you can drive them back to back on bumpy and twisty roads to decide if must have the AD.

I am not sure whether anyone can give you definite answers. It really depends on where you live (weather wise) and how picky you are with any options. You should really try out back to back if you can.
I can only offer you my personal opinions. For me AD was essential and the top choice option. I would not want to have a car without it. I felt that a car was too soft without it. However, my dealer had more cars without AD than ones with AD and I took that as overall customers prefer non-AD cars. Otherwise, a dealer would have had more cars with AD. My guess.
Premium sound: If you have it, it would be nice but 12cmim3 said, it's the easiest one to upgrade among options you are considering. My X5 does not have premium. If I hear back to back (premium sound vs non), i can tell the difference. But when I am in my car (any car without premium sound), I have never felt that audio is horrible. Having said this, I am not very picky with sound system at all. So, just check out the car without premium sound and see whether you can tolerate it.
Cold weather package: It really depends on how often and whom you have in your back seats. This is the option which can be used only during half the season (or maybe only a few months) while the other options are for all year around. For me, I don't care about heated rear seats because I still have to use booster seats for my kids.

Thanks for the input.
I just ordered my X5. Got the following:

X5 35i Sport Activity
Alpine White with black perforated leather.
M sport package with adaptive drive
Active Ventilated seat package
Convenience package
Cold Weather package
BMW apps
Soft close doors

So I ended up getting the cold weather package. I think my wife will be back there with the kids, so I'm going to have to keep her warmer.

Got this at $64400. Is this a decent price? That's with the $1000 financing incentive. Any thoughts?
