2012 x5m

Hey everybody,
Need advice all;( I recently went to the dealership and ordered a 2013 x6m. The wait was suppose to be for 6 months, ( for the facelifted version). The other day the salesperson told me that in 2 weeks period.

So my question, is the x5m going to change soon? I read in a website that it's going to change by 2014 and the m version not for a full year after.

The car is very muscular, I love it but is it worth getting it now or waiting for the. X6m?

Plz ur comments and opinions!!

X5M wont change soon I do not think soon.. New X5 model may be out by 2014. Final production of E7x series is aug of 2012 or something like that... then proably the M version wont come out until at least 1 year after spring of 2013.. so probably 2014 you may see one.

Why not enjoy the truck for 3 years (lease), then, then get into the new one after some bugs have been worked out?

How about the cars maintainance, this is goin to be my first BMW, coming from a Mercedes Benz for 5 years?!

Is the service costly?
How about the car itself, reliable or like the older m5 heard a lot of people discredited BMW for that. Car !!?

those are weathertec floor liners. bmw also resells them.

they are great, i have the rear installed. i went for the standard winter rubber up front, its a softer rubber and feels softer / quieter under your shoes but it doesn't cover up the sides as much as the liner pictured does.

What Trekky is saying is they're the same; BMW uses the same liner made by WeatherTech, but just re-badges with the BMW logo. I have a set with the BMW logo. They were MUCH cheaper than WeatherTech's for some strange reason.

Sorry, been offline. Yes, they're Weather Tech and I'm happy with them.
