Vbox/dragy times

Decided to play around with the dragy for the first time today. Didn't have room for longer runs but did a 4.3 0-60 on the second try. Post up your results if you've got 'em!

Not trying to piss on your parade, but I could do 4.3 runs all day long on my $70k CAN 2014 GC SRT. My best was a 3.7 with the engine not up to temps and -20*F temps outside. Only happened once, but it's documented....

Um okay? I'm not really sure what that has to do with X6's? Maybe you're on the wrong forum by mistake.

Just sayin' that 4.3 isn't all that great. Not bad for a 475hp Jeep, but not great for a $100k+ 555hp X6m. Is it possible your traction control kicked in?

And honestly, not trying to come off as an a-hole....

This is almost 500hp at the rear wheels based on the math of loaded weight with driver of 5400lbs and ET of 12.27!

👍

Has a Dinan tune and catback right now, so this is my baseline. As I do things I'll be running it repeatedly to keep tabs on what things have an effect on whp. xHP is soon to see if their modified shift points and pressures increase trap/reduce ET.

Are you brake boosting or just rolling?

Launch control and releasing as soon as the checkered flag pops up. (So yeah, brake boosting).

Come to a stop, shifter to M/S, M mode, use - paddle to pull gear down to 1 (even though it already will be, you still have to do this), brake boost to 2-3k and you'll see a checker flag on the gauges. Release brake and keep it floored. As long as you don't let off the gas it will upshift for you.

Yeah but you should be in sport shift and M mode anyway if you're planning on drag racing. So the only real difference is using a paddle shifter to pull it down to 1st and Brake boosting. It's honestly not hard at all.

Did another run today after xHP Stg 3 install. Seems to be a little faster. Almost into 11s.
