Have tried it a few times and have smoked all 4 tires! Easy way to burn through tires every 4-5k miles.

So if you turn off dtc and punch the throttle
from a standing stop you can smoke the tires?
Didn't know that.

Hello..well near my house there are 2 great curves with 90 deegres...everyday i push it more and more...

Yesterday i pressed DTC button and went throught...oh boy..what a feeling..like you driving "normal" bimmer,i mean only with power on rear axel.

I recomand caution if you gonna try this...it is totally different car..

but feeling is amazing.

Probably not but if you start from a stop in a straight line but I did it at a stop sign while taking a right hand and giving it hard throttle.

Don't tell me that Deda has gone off the deep end and started drifting his X6?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What's this world coming to.

At least have someone take pictures for us next time.

Be careful, Deda, you'll wear out your tires pretty fast that way. I don't know how much they cost in Croatia, but they're pretty darn expensive over here in the States.

What do u mean dance?
Rear end shuddering/skipping ?or sliding out of your turn, making the front end point into the center of the corner??
Please elaborate.

It is simple...When i press DTC button X6 start acting like rear axle powered cars.

YES..it is sliding ...easist way is to try it by yourself...step on gas at the moment when you go througt the corner..rear end slide out..that you wont get if you dont PRESS DTC button.

Sounds like fun!
But like TeageeAMX says, u'll wear out the tires fast. particularly on dry pavement.
As it is, without diengaging DSC, the tires will chirp a little if u stomp on the gas
Less friction to wear out the tires with snow on the ground, the way it's designed for.
Personally, I think its' cheaper & safer to go to amusement park & take a monster rollercoaster ride & get the need for speed out of ur system.
Besides, ur burning gas for inefficient forward movement.
Power is intoxicating! Have fun!

It's the way you born. Some will understand it (as I'm sure anyone in this group would) and other will shake heads.

I remember when I was a little kid my eyes would pop whenever I saw a cool car. I'd pick up every hot rod and custom car magazine I'd see and read 'em over and over again. My dad liked cars, but not that much, and neither does my son. You either have it or you don't.
