Can anyone confirm the height difference with springs?

Can anyone confirm with the picture below that springs can go to the lowered height? I have a hard time thinking the H&R's can drop that low with the info online. It looks like a 3+ inch drop!. thanks!!

I'll share what I have learned, as I will be dropping mine soon.

For H-Techs (H&R), they offer a 1.2" and 2.0" drop option for front. IDK what the rear is, as mine is air-suspension rear, so I didn't bother to look. And I'm getting adjustable links.

The above values are for a 3.0i engine, which means that for the LIGHTER inline-six, the drop can be expected to be around 1.2" or 2.0" respectively up front. With a 4.8i (what I have), you can expect the drops to be 1.75" or 2.5" respectively due to the added weight of the V8.

As for the rear, an air-suspension vehicle will make use of either the new height sensor links supplied by H&R kit, or by adjustable links sold by a forum member (silver5?).

I will be getting the adjustable links, as I'm getting Eibach 1.2" drop springs instead of H&R. Basically I've read that they are a little nicer ride, plus I want to try something different. However, they only come with 4 springs, no links for air. Therefore, I'll need adjustable links.

From that picture you have, I'd say the closer vehicle is probably using the 1" drop rear links from H&R, but the far vehicle is probably using the adjustable links from the forum member to get like a 2.0"+ drop in the rear.

Hope that helps.

With adjustable links what is the best height for the rear? Front and rear must match the same height? The method for misure hieght can be by yourself or by DIS?

if you go too low with the adjustable links in the rear, you are effectively lowering the spring rate as you'll have less air in the bags. So the lower you make the rear, the more bouncy it will feel. If you have the sport pack with EDC, you can always leave the suspension in Sport mode to compensate for this a bit.

I think 1" drop in the rear is standard for the 1.2" drop kit from H&R. I wouldn't try to take it much lower than that. Maybe 1.2" max.
