Coding expert needed

Hey everyone. I have performed a multi contour/heated/ventilated seat retrofit on my 12 X5D. I swapped complete seats, seat modules, and IHKA from the donor vehicle. I changed the VO on my X5 and added option 456 for multi contour seats. After changing the VO I was able to encode the seat modules successfully. However, the IHKA does not want to encode so I think I'm missing a option code. Does anyone know what code is needed to add ventilated seats to the VO so I can encode the IHKA. The multi contour seats and seat heaters are currently working.

Which modules did you code after changing the FA? Are you using expert mode (does not allow manipulation) to code the IHKA? Did you code CAS? Did you check the wiring harness pin out to see if there are any additional wires needed for the ventilation feature?

Lastly, what daten file version, are you using something newer than whats in the donor IHKA?

I'm using ISTA-P to code the vehicle. I encoded the complete vehicle after loading the new VO into the vehicle.

I know the ventilation can work. Before I coded the vehicle I tried all of the functions including ventilation and they all worked. The only part that didn't work was the seat heating/ventilation showing up in the I drive. But the fans in the seats worked and the seat heating works (current x5 has cold weather package.) the vent seat function doesn't have any additional wiring on the body harness side.

So when you used Ista-p, did it code the CIC as well?

Yes. The problem is it wouldn't code the ihka that has seat ventilation. It kept telling me to replace the ihka before it would code it. So I re installed the original ihka to do the coding. Once I get the proper VO code for seat ventilation it will allow me to code the ihka.

vmware player or parallels will both run windows 7 or windows 10
If you don't mind paying, I suggest you reach out to Okee (codemycar@gmail.com) for troubleshooting this.
