eBay Carbon lip/diffuser?
I've seen several other models had threads on the eBay stuff. Fitment and quality seemed to be ok. Curious if anyone on here has tried them? I know its not going to be the same quality as the OEM stuff but for something that sits 6-9 inches away from the road and 5-6' from eye level I dont mind at 25-35% of the price.

I bought the OEM carbon front spoiler directly from BMW (very pricey) and I bought the rear carbon diffuser from cnbjautofans on eBay.
Everyone always says that OEM is a perfect fit.... In my experience, neither the OEM BMW spoiler or the aftermarket diffuser fit without a bit of minor tweaking. The finish on the OEM is PERFECT. In fact, the weave of the Carbon Fiber on the OEM is so perfect that it almost looks fake! On the other hand, if you look closely at the cnbjautofans diffuser, it appears to have just enough minor imperfections in the weave to make it look legit. Personally, I like the hand laid look of carbon fiber, verses a PERFECT machined like weave... Both come with a similar high gloss finish. Aside from tweaking both to get them to fit, I am totally happy with the improved aesthetics I achieved by fitting them. |
